Shift Supervisor

Gregory Galvanizing and Metal Processing is seeking a highly qualified candidate for Shift Supervisor.  This position is responsible for optimizing productivity and supervising the activities of personnel in a manufacturing facility to ensure safe and effective operations.  The shift supervisor manages personnel issues, training requirements and discipline of hourly employees. The ideal candidate will possess galvanizing or steel manufacturing experience.  This is a salaried non-exempt position. This position requires the ability to work afternoons or midnight shift and overtime. Requirements are:

• 2+ years supervision experience in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of safety programs and regulations

• Ability to analyze information in order to optimize schedules / productivity.

• Must be able to work any shift

• Excellent problem solver.

• Ability to coach and mentor workers for maximum effectiveness.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Conflict resolution skills
