Full-time outside Sales Representative or Independent Sales Representative with a home office base to expand our current Akron/Canton Ohio presence. The desired candidate will build a stronger market share, increase sales and profitable growth in the window film industry.
Territories includes, but is not limited to, the Akron/Canton area and suburbs. Customers typically are upscale homeowners, commercial offices, retail spaces or institutional properties.
Product and industry training provided to assist you in rising to your potential desired income level. Personally tailored compensation packages dependent on experience and past performance will be assessed during the interview process.
Desired Skills and Experience
This position requires a self-starting, determined, disciplined individual who possesses excellent written, oral and electronic communication skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in prospecting sales from the start of the conversation through to the final close.
Listening skills create success in this business in order analyze and target potential needs of prospective clients. The ability to think outside of the box to find the vision your client is trying to achieve is key.
Organizational skills are a necessity to the sales process. Creating a disciplined schedule to prospect, write and create cohesive quotes and then follow-up to move the sale to the closing stage will create success.
Knowledge of light construction or remodeling, wallpaper installation, blueprint/takeoff elevation specs and familiarity with standard OSHA safety standards a plus.
Preference is someone living and very familiar with Akron/Canton Ohio and surrounding areas.
