WW Cross Industries is currently seeking full-time, Machine Operators at our Canton South location. The Machine Operator sets, operates, maintains and mechanically adjusts machinery to our company specifications and safety guidelines. Duties also include inspection of product, loading/unloading product from machines and cleanliness of production area.

 

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain all machinery in production area.
• Load raw material into machines.
• Start production machines.
• Inspect pieces coming off of machines.
• Make necessary adjustments to machinery to maintain proper specifications of finished products.
• Prepare equipment for routine maintenance, daily maintenance activities.

 

Requirements:

• Adhere to safe work practices, including wearing required PPE.
• Ability to work in an environment that can he hot, humid, dusty, and noisy.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, twist and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work as a team corresponding with plant manager, production lead and shop maintenance manager.
• Minimum two (2) years manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical press knowledge, tool & die experience.
• High level of mechanical abilities.

Compensation:

• $19.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience
